The impact of Bryan González, who scored right after coming on, is proof that the Rojiblanco bench has enough depth to make a difference.
For Pumas UNAM, however, the shot and possession statistics invite some reflection: generating more shots than your rival is worthless if it doesn't translate into efficiency in front of goal. The university side needs to fix that lack of sharpness if they hope to climb the standings and move away from the lower half of the table, where they currently find themselves alongside teams fighting not to fall further behind the pack at the top.
