In our view, the contrast of needs can play a decisive role in how the match develops. Recoleta arrives obliged to propose and take risks, because their position on the table does not allow them to settle for a draw, but their poor goal difference (-11) and the lack of recent wins are warning signs about their offensive and defensive capacity.
Libertad, for its part, comes off a loss to the championship leader, something that — we believe — can work as extra motivation to react quickly and not allow the distance with Club Olimpia to grow. With a squad that averages more than a goal and a half per game in their favor, they have strong arguments to take a positive result from Asunción, although they will face a rival that, despite their poor run, will play with the urgency of a team with no margin for error.
